Released in 2025 under the concept "What if bullets turned into flowers?", "Flower Bullet" is an ambient/electronica album by Hidetoshi Koizumi, released under the name Hybrid Leisreualand. The album drew attention across Europe and the United States for its distinctive sound design.
This project marks Hybrid Leisreualand's first release in remix form, featuring remix versions of "Hope of Days" and "Crying Tomorrow" by I Awake and Miktek, two artists affiliated with the long-established French ambient label Ultimae whom Koizumi deeply respects.
Koizumi himself also contributed remixes to the EP, commenting: "As I worked on these remixes, I approached them as a different version of myself from the one you usually hear. Just as everyone has multiple facets to their personality, this is one of mine. I would be happy if you could listen to it from another perspective."
Composer and arranger of electronica and ambient music, active in Japan and France. I began composing music after realizing the infinite nature of music, which can be created with all kinds of sounds, including human voices and car engines. In 2010, I signed a contract with Ultimae Records in France and worked under the name Hybrid Leisureland until 2020. Since 2021, I have been active under both my real name and Hybrid Leisureland to pursue my own original expression. I have performed in France, Hungary, Germany, and Japan. In addition, I have provided music for fashion brands, movies, advertisements (CM), projection mapping, and music games.
Composer and arranger of electronica and ambient music, he is active in Japan and his country of residence, France. He began composing music after realizing the infinite nature of music, which can be created with all kinds of sounds, including human voices and car engines. In 2010, he signed a contract with Ultimae Records in France, where he worked under the name Hybrid Leisureland, but he changed to his real name in 2021 to rediscover his original identity. He has performed live in France, Hungary, Germany, and Japan, also provides music for fashion brands, movies, advertisements (commercials), projection mapping, and games. A perfect fusion of environmental soundscapes and contrasting atmospheres, it creates an extremely delicate and light, yet deep and edgy world of electronica ambient. The inspiration that comes from watching the everyday scenes and movements of people is expressed in the form of simple sounds, which are then transformed into a soundtrack for the next day's performance. He hopes that his music will be a part of the various scenes in the lives of the people who listen to it.
