"The Wind Listener Vol. 1" is the first album and original soundtrack by SUIKYO, created from the world of the ongoing story and anime project "The Wind Listener."
Rather than composing music after the story is complete, the music emerges first from its characters, scenes, and emotions-and in turn inspires new parts of the story.
Featuring quena performances recorded by Yasuyuki Shimizu, the 14-track album blends elements of Andean folk music, ambient, electronic music, and dubstep.
