HUGEN presents its debut full-length album, Fujin Street.

Moving beyond established perceptions of HUGEN, the album reveals a new side of the project - an honest expression of the music HUGEN wants to make right now.

Following an appearance on the ROOKIE A GO-GO stage at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 2025 and a year centered on live performances, HUGEN returns roughly a year after its debut EP, Matsuri. Expanding beyond the Japanese-inspired aesthetic associated with the project, Fujin Street brings together its current musical impulses, unrestricted by genre or convention.

Lyrically, the album explores two worlds: the emotions and scenes of everyday life, and imagined fairy tales that venture beyond the familiar.

The lead tracks, Fujin Street, Ryu no Kuni, and Kitchen Beat, each reveal a distinct side of the album, reflecting the breadth of the evolving HUGEN sound.

Fujin Street will be available on digital platforms from midnight JST on September 16, 2026. HUGEN will celebrate the release with a headline show at WWW in Shibuya, Tokyo, later that day.
