Following its success, many voices called for the song to represent not only Akebono-cho but the entire city of Tachikawa TOKYO.
In response, the lyrics were rewritten and reborn as "Tachikawa Bon Bon Bon."

This new version celebrates the city's scenery, nature, daily life, and enduring warmth, combining the joy of traditional Bon Odori with a modern pop sound.
It is a community-driven song that expresses love for Tachikawa while inviting people everywhere to sing and dance together.
