2001年に結成したdropの新しいアルバムは、ギターポップやアートロック、シューゲイザーの要素が絶妙に交差し、どこか懐かしい90年代風ロックの質感とともに、ソフトサイケやサイケデリックな彩りが加えられています。
アルバムの中核を成すのは、リバーブやディレイを駆使して広がりを持たせたサウンド。ポップでありながらも時折見られるサイケデリックな展開がリスナーの脳内フィールドを拡張し、見知らぬ町に置いてきぼりになった時の不安や回帰願望を宅録特有の温もりと親密さが包み込みます。
全体を通じて繊細で内省的な歌詞がリスナーの心に深く訴えかける作品。

dropは2001年に東京・池袋で結成された日本のデュオです。メンバーはj（作詞作曲、ギター、ベース、ドラム、キーボード、プログラミング）とa（作詞作曲、ボーカル、ギター、ベース、キーボード、チェロ）の2人です。楽曲は主に自宅スタジオで録音され、mellotron、clavinet、solina、jupiter-8といった古い楽器にヴィンテージエフェクターのエッセンスが加えられています。
