You don’t need a better story
You don’t need a brighter name
Every scar you’re hiding
Still beats inside the flame
They keep shouting from the distance
Telling you to change your skin
But the ground beneath your heartbeat
Is already where you win
Stand where you are
Feel the dust, feel the sun
You don’t owe the world a reason
Just to be someone
Stand where you are
Let the noise fall apart
You are not behind, not broken
You’re already at the start
Hands are clapping, drums are breathing
Night is warm against your face
Every step you’re taking slowly
Still belongs inside this place
Stand where you are
That’s enough
That’s the truth
