We are always faced with the concept of conflict.
From the conflict between Cain and Abel, to the conflict between the US and Soviet Union during the Cold War, and in recent years, the clash between old and new technology. Through these conflicts, human history has traced the trajectory of human evolution and development, and at times has encouraged dramatic advances in culture and science. One is placed in the middle of a conflict and learns how to resolve it and move on. Conflict provides us with opportunities for self-development, broadening our horizons and honing our problem-solving abilities. Conflict allows us to reexamine ourselves, respect others, and seek coexistence. At the same time, the existence of conflict creates new possibilities. By looking at the world through the distorted mirror of conflict, we can gain a new perspective. The conflict between old and new technologies will ignite the fire of innovation and explore possibilities that will lead to the next stage of growth.
However, this conflict does not always produce positive results. In some cases, it causes disastrous developments and sows destruction, pain, and sorrow. This is because conflicts create contradictions and friction, which can result in confusion and disharmony throughout society. What is important in this regard is how to perceive conflict and how to deal with it.
At that time, the most important thing is to recognize that in the end, conflict is "nothing more than a choice." This does not necessarily mean completely denying one and promoting the other. It is not a question of which one to choose, but rather a question of ``how'' to choose, that is, to choose a method to find the best answer while respecting each person's position. It is necessary for opposites to understand each other, empathize with each other, and ultimately share in order to form a bright future.
Here, I would like to cite as an example a conflict that I witnessed recently.
It is a conflict over a live performance by Kenshi Yonedu, an artist who boasts national popularity. Conflicts arose over his signature song "Eine Kleine" over whether or not to intervene. Regarding the ai-no-te, in the song, in response to the phrase "Can I call your name," we say "Okay!" and in response to the phrase "Why, why, why?", we say "why! why! why!" I remember that it was something like "put it in".
A positive opinion is that it is to liven up the live performance. The naysayers were like, don't make fun of the song (or the artist himself). Personally, I think it's very disgusting and I wish it would stop. I also thought that ``Eine Kleine no Ai no Te'' is a really nice phrase.
Conflict is the source of evolution, and at the same time it encourages our own evolution and growth. Conflict may be difficult, but we have the strength to overcome it. To that end, it is important how we ourselves choose to deal with it. Resolving conflicts begins with looking at the whole picture, understanding each other, and empathizing with each other. It begins with mutual recognition of the beauty of existence itself and the beauty of each of us.
That is why conflicts exist within us, and through the human soul's struggle to deal with them, we refine ourselves and develop the strength to move on to a new stage. And as a result, we will achieve excellent results and open new horizons of possibilities.
