Yuka Sato Born in Sendai City. Singer-songwriter / Pianist Yuka Sato began studying piano at an early age, and later entered the jazz course at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, where she studied jazz piano. During her school days, she was influenced by Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Joe Sample, FourPlay, and Hiromi Uehara, and started her career as a pianist. While still in school, she began teaching herself to play and released her first album "Avanti" as a self-produced singer-songwriter in 2015. Her worldview of fusing jazz and pop music has been well received. Influenced by Norah Jones, the Carpenters, Yumi Matsutoya, Koji Tamaki, Mika Nakashima, and others, she sings a large repertoire of cover songs as well as originals. In addition to performing throughout Japan, she also provides music as an artist.
