City Blue

MARBO is a singer-songwriter who, in the early 1990s in Japan, became fervently passionate about alternative rock, founded the rock band TOKAGE-O, and embarked on a career as a rock vocalist. Simultaneously, he had a deep passion for R&B, alternative R&B, and neo-soul (referred to as 'new classic soul' in Japan). He had a particular fondness for artists such as SADE, D'Angelo, and Erykah Badu. Now, he has finally realised the music he has long admired in his own way, crafting songs that delicately embrace and console the anguish of love. He calls this new journey of his own 'City Blue'. His restrained voice will accompany you in your solitude in the city.
