I'm nearing 70, yet I must work to survive, enduring pain every day. I'm typing this with only my left hand because my right hand is unusable due to tenosynovitis and tennis elbow (from too much housework and PC operation). Just living takes all my energy. However, the birth of Japan's first female prime minister, Sanae Takaichi, who is four years my junior, inspired me! I want to get a little closer to Prime Minister Takaichi! I want to be of help to someone, even just a little. But I can't do anything, so I thought, at least I could release a song. I want to make someone smile, like Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi (a broad, hopeful smile like mine).
I write poetry about my everyday life with my wife, as we're both around 70 years old. Having lived for over 70 years, I've experienced countless moments where I thought, "This is the end." Yet, each time, I've managed to pick myself up and keep living. I've poured that journey into these lyrics. SUNOAI has composed the music and also provides the vocals. However, I also plan to distribute a karaoke version created with Filmora, where I'll sing the songs myself. The TuneCore Japan Support Team encouraged me with words like, "Even grandpas and grandmas can do it!" and gave me hope. Since TuneCore Japan will distribute my music, I'm entrusting it to them.
