While the genre generally relies heavily on synthesized sounds created by software and synthesizers, his approach is the polar opposite.
He explores the texture and spatiality of sound using the limited physical equipment of an electric guitar and effects pedals.
The result is a stripped-away, natural sound that borders on the "resonance of the materials themselves."
