This album presents Fujihara Taku's own answer to the question, "How can life get better?" Built around a diverse range of beats, including R&B, Pain, and old-school hip-hop, the project captures shifting emotions through rhythmic rap flows and introspective lyrics. It portrays the contradiction of being nearly consumed by jealousy and anger, while still hoping to believe in the goodness of people. That deeply human conflict is sealed into the sound of this work. An album to accompany you on nights when you want to sink deep into your thoughts, moments when you need to face yourself, or times when you want to lift yourself up once again.
Fujihara Taku is a rapper and beatmaker from Iwate, Japan. A fully independent DIY artist, he handles every stage of his music production himself, from songwriting and rapping to beatmaking, recording, mixing, and mastering. He first became fascinated with rap after watching the film Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit as a child, which eventually led him to begin making music of his own. In July 2026, he released his 13-track full-length album Change My Game. Every aspect of the album, from production and recording to mixing and mastering, was completed entirely by himself. Rooted in Hip Hop while drawing from Trap, R&B, House, and other influences, the album explores his own answer to a central question: How can I make my life better? His music is defined by rhythmic, tightly constructed rhymes and a smooth, natural flow that allows his words to land effortlessly. His lyrics range from self-boasting and social commentary to personal weakness, conflict, failure, and inner change, always drawing from real experiences. At the core of his music is a simple philosophy: to become stronger than the weaker parts of himself, and to turn even negative experiences into something positive enough to keep moving forward. Rather than portraying only success or strength, Fujihara Taku uses Hip Hop to express the contradictions, insecurities, and imperfections of an ordinary person who keeps choosing to move forward. He originally began doing everything himself because he simply could not afford to outsource the work. But there was another reason too: he thought doing it all himself would be more impressive and, honestly, a lot cooler. He is also extremely contrarian by nature, which tends to make life unnecessarily difficult for him.
