I have asked one thing from the LORD; that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD
And to meditate in His temple.
For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His shelter;
In the secret place of His tabernacle He will hide me;
He will lift me up on a rock.
(Psalm 27:4 to 5)
Even amid countless battles, fears, conflicts, and troubles, David had one place where he could find his answer. That place was 'the secret place of the tabernacle.'
Even when pressed by problems and surrounded by darkness with no clear future, whenever he entered into the presence that filled the tabernacle, he was overwhelmed not by the battles before him, but by the greatness and beauty of the Lord. There, he received the fulfillment and answers he needed most. For David, nothing in this world was more essential than the Lord Himself.
Within the tabernacle, unceasing praise and prayer were offered, and worship freely led by the Spirit was taking place. In Hebrew, this is called'Tehillah.' David declares in the Psalms that 'the LORD inhabits the Tehillah.'
This work contains many expressions of praise rooted in 'Tehillah.' To worship the Lord in such freedom is the privilege of those who have been redeemed by the blood of the cross of Jesus Christ and who live filled with the Holy Spirit.
As you listen to this CD, may you enter into the presence of the Lord, and in the secret place of the tabernacle, be embraced in His bosom, receiving from Him the greatest fulfillment and answers in this world. We pray that your daily life may be filled with praise, prayer, and an intimate love with the Lord Jesus, and with this prayer, we bless each of you.
