Midori Doi plays F.Chopin:Piano Sonata No.2 in B flat minor, op.35

Kansai-based pianist Midori Doi plays beautiful Chopin with gorgeous technique and grainy, bold rhythms.Born in Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture. After graduating from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, She went to England.

She completed her postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music in England in one year, receiving a diploma from the late Princess Diana of Wales.

Second prize at the All Japan Student Music Competition, West Japan. In France, she auditioned for the Tours Summer Music Academy.

Received the Japan Federation of Musicians' Association Award. She has given many recitals in Osaka and Tokyo with a variety of programs.
