• MIZUKI OHIRA

  Singer songwriter, trackmaker from Tokyo. She started her solo career with her 2015, March release of "LIP NOISE" (mini album) produced by composer and cellist Shuhei Ito. During the same year, she also played FUJI ROCK FESTICAL and also featured in tofubeats song, Sutekina Maison. In 2016, she released her debut album "TRUE ROMANCE" in July co-produced with Shuhei Ito. On November 30th, she performed a successful solded out show at Tokyo's Roppongi VARIT. After releasing a music video, Sunday Monday, a track from the album was chosen as the ending theme song fV program BS Japan Nikkei Morning Plus. The album also includes Mezameno Love Song, and 12 urban luxurious pop songs. From her cover of Bjork, guitar playing style, and distinct voice and sound, critics often compare her to Feist, Lianne La Havas and ROOS JONKER. She is also confirmed to perform at Ringo Music Festival, Ongaku Onsen and other various major music festivals including SUMMER SONIC 2017. As a multitalented vocalist and instrumentalist, playing guitar and keyboards, she is sought by other artists for support work as well.
