  Ayakashi is a Japanese rapper building a new life and a new sound in Calgary, Canada. After leaving Japan, he found himself thousands of miles from home, surrounded by unfamiliar streets, languages, and faces. That distance became fuel for his music. Rapping primarily in Japanese, ayakashi turns isolation, ambition, doubt, and everyday reality into atmospheric hip hop. His music documents what it feels like to start from zero in a foreign city. From late night streets and graffiti walls to quiet moments behind closed doors, everything becomes part of the story. This is not a reinvention. It is the next chapter.
