"Summer Daze (Mellow Rework)" is a downtempo mellow version of the new song "Summer Daze (Saudade Rework)" written as a homage to Nick Holder's "Summer Daze" by haruka nakamura, which is a new recording source by haruka nakamura. This version by haruka nakamura is a special version that has not been released on CD or analog.
Nick Holder's version of "Summer Daze", which was also played in Nujabes' DJ set, is a song built on Pat Metheny Group's masterpiece "Slip Away". haruka nakamura's new recording rework is a wonderful work that also contains respect for the two.
Supervised and selected by Toru Hashimoto, artwork by Jiro Fujita (FJD), and mastered by Calm, this is a single cut from the third compilation series "Summer-drive Chillout Breeze", which selects special comfortable music that makes you feel a comfortable breeze while driving in the summer!

    青森出身 / 音楽家 15歳で音楽をするため上京。 代表作は「スティルライフ」 THE NORTH FACEとのコラボレーション「Light years」シリーズなど。最新作は蔦屋書店の音楽「青い森」代官山蔦屋書店を中心に全国展開中。近年では星野道夫・写真展演奏会「旅をする音楽」や、国立近代美術館「ガウディとサグラダファミリア展」NHKスペシャルのテーマ音楽などを担当。minä perhonenのコレクション映像音楽やライブ、写真家・川内倫子、料理家・細川亜衣、ミロコマチコ、原田郁子、sundaysfoodなどとのコラボレーションライブなど多岐に渡る。NHK土曜ドラマ「ひきこもり先生」安藤忠雄、杉本博司などのドキュメンタリーなど様々な音楽を担当。 長い間、旅をしながら音楽を続けていたが、2021年より故郷・北国に暮らし音楽をしている。
