[1166] "Flower Field in Wonderland" is a piece that depicts the endless desire for happiness and the unfillable void within the human heart.
In this "Flower Field in Wonderland," the concept of time does not exist.
No matter how far one runs, there is no end in sight; no matter how long one wanders, the scenery never grows tiresome. Beautiful flowers bloom eternally, beckoning visitors deep into a world of sweet enchantment.
Yet, does true happiness truly exist there?
Even the moment humans grasp happiness, they find themselves yearning for an "even greater happiness" that lies beyond. Unable to be content with the joy at hand, they continue to chase after something unseen. While this desire drives life forward, it also compels us to rush through our limited time in a state of restless anxiety.
Through a fantastical floral realm where reds and greens vividly intertwine, this work explores themes of happiness, desire, impatience, time, and the fleeting nature of life. Lurking beneath the brilliant colors is a quiet question: "Just how far must one go to find fulfillment?"
Perhaps the one wandering through this endless field of flowers is not a character within the artwork, but rather we ourselves-forever searching for the answer to what constitutes happiness.
