(Touka-tou)
The title is a coined word coming from a four-character idiom (Touka-seisei). This idiom characterizes the colors of the evergreens throughout the years, having the meaning of "strong determination to stay the same" or "never changing".
The boy and girl in the song are wavering inside, not knowing what's about to come next in life. They might as well just stop thinking and let everything go with the flow, yet inside, there's still a tiny fire burning in them to travel and explore a different world away from theirs. Therefore, they are now both willing to break their shell, and are not afraid to change their values and ways of thinking. In this song, the two are sharing a feeling of love similar to those intrepid backbone, yet still in search for a way to make certain of their love for eachother.
Life is an ever changing thing, unlike the never changing evergreens. It has various faces of different colors, and to characterize that fact, the title "Touka-tou" was named by switching the color "blue" in (Touka-seisei) to "orange" which is the exact opposite in a color wheel. The song title represents and respects the "will to change along with those faces of life".
The English title "(Decid)uous" was named to express the contradiction to the evergreens, and the parentheses express the tentativeness in the term "decide. It describes the wavering hearts of the two, and their uncertain feelings they are having towards life itself.
