Based in Tokyo and active across various regions, Doppelgänger presents their third release in the series, the latest EP Michibiki .

Following the first EP Hajime released in January 2024, and the second EP Tsunagi , which centered on the theme of connection, this project carries on the series narrative while expressing the duos growth and determination at this stage of their journey.

Rooted in contemporary Jamaican Dancehall, the EP blends Doppelgänger unique sensibility with a raw and honest perspective.
The tracks, influenced by worldwide sounds, are once again produced by IMACHI of ZODIAC DISCO Sound, continuing the sonic direction established in the previous release.

All four tracks share a unifying theme represented by the title Michibiki (Guidance).
Through their own words, Doppelgänger portrays a story that flows from the past to the present and onward into the future.

As with the previous works, the artwork is designed by OKUMURA SHO, completing a cohesive visual and musical world throughout the series.

    Doppelgänger is a unit formed by identical twin brothers, 2FACE and GEMINI. Rooted in Dancehall Reggae, their music reflects the environments surrounding them and the landscapes they see, delivering a raw and honest sense of reality. Their live performances are especially well regarded across all generations, driven by grooves and stage dynamics that can only be created by twins. 2FACE leads the sound with avant-garde lyrics and aggressive flows, while GEMINI expands the emotional range of the music through his versatile melodic sensibility. Following the EP series Hajimari and Tsunagari, their latest release Michibiki expresses messages directed toward themselves and those close to them, capturing their determination to move forward from their current position into the next stage.
