Artist Profile
Sept.
Sept., an alternative band from Japan, was formed in September 2018 and consists of Yuhei Kurosawa (vocals/guitar), Hikaru Koga (guitar), and Shin Fukasawa (bass). In March 2021, they released their first mini-album, "Nature Nature," with Kurosawa (vocals) handling the recording and mixing for all the tracks. Speaking of Sept., they are characterized by a somewhat nostalgic worldview and dreamy sound, incorporating public domain Western paintings into their artwork. While their music has an ear-pleasing quality reminiscent of bedroom pop, the lyrics consistently convey Sept.'s unique alternative dream-pop style, encouraging listeners to break out of the bedroom and embark on a journey.
