This hit song from Quincy Jones' album "The Dude" in 1981 made James Ingram famous as a ballad singer and was included in Ingram's solo album "The Power Of Great Music" in 1991. Kent Nishimura original arranged this great song to respect Ingram a few days after he passed away on Jan. 29, 2019. Beautiful harmonics play on introduction is very impressive and it succeed in breathing a new lease of life into this song. This song arrangement was done by Kent at his age of 15.

  • Kent Nishimura

    2003年3月、大阪生まれ。5歳でギターに触れ、6歳のときに押尾コータローの演奏に衝撃を受け、ソロ・ギターに傾倒。 　2015年、12歳でデビュー・アルバム『First Step』をリリースし、世界的ギタリストのトミー・エマニュエルらから絶賛される。 　2017年、「Fingerpicking Day 2017全国大会」でグランド・チャンピオンを含む3冠を獲得し、同大会の最年少記録を更新。同年8月にはトミー・エマニュエル東京公演でスペシャル・ゲストとして出演。 　その後も国内外で活躍を広げ、2021年にはアメリカの大手音楽出版社Hal Leonardからギター楽譜集『Kent Nishimura’s Fingerstyle Solo Guitar Songs』を出版。 　2023年には香港でのソロ公演を成功させ、同年8月にはクリストファー・クロスが自身の公式Facebookでケントの演奏を絶賛するなど、世界的な注目を集める。 　2024年４月にはカナダ出身のソロギタリスト、ドン・ロスとの共演ツアーを行い、全１１公演を成功させた。 　圧倒的なテクニックと独自のアレンジセンスで、国内外の音楽ファンやアーティストから高い評価を受ける、次世代のフィンガースタイル・ギタリスト。
