Artist Profile
WIDE
Born in Toyama and raised in Oyama, he first encountered hip-hop in his hometown of Toyama. He has built a career spanning over 20 years, based in Tochigi. While primarily active in the Kanto region, he incorporates the Toyama dialecta nod to his roots into his rap, infusing his artistic expression with the distinct flavor of his upbringing. He has secured victories in numerous live rap battles and has appeared at events hosted by FM Tochigi. Beyond his work as a rapper, he has expanded his reach by serving as an MC for dance and battle events. In 2016, he released his first album, *HIPHOP MATERIAL*, and subsequently established his own music label, "I'm3 Label." Alongside his artistic pursuits, he is deeply committed to promoting hip-hop culture organizing the hip-hop entertainment program *KICK IN THE DINING* and hosting *HIPHOP TORCH*, a series of workshops centered on cultural exploration. In October 2026, he released his second album, *Rapper's Delight* his first full-length release in a decade. His live performances, driven by the goal of "rocking the entire audience," are a true reflection of his way of life. With a profound respect for hip-hop, he continues to embody the culture through his own words and his personal journey.
