Funky and groovy rock 'n' roll four-piece Subarashika.
The Great Reset", their third full-length album and their most ambitious work to date, was recorded/mixed/mastered by engineer Souichiro Nakamura (Peace Music)!
The album has a punkish sense of speed and funky groove, a wabi-sabi feeling mixed with blues and R&B touches, a psychedelic sense of euphoria, and even chiptune and trance-like development. Vocalist/guitarist Fukuda's songwriting, laced with pure poetry, humor, and a bittersweet sense of pessimism, has also reached its peak of seriousness.
This is an unconventional, one-of-a-kind, original, junky, pop, funky, cool, and unique, cutting-edge rock 'n' roll album!
Artist Profile
Subarashika
Funky and groovy rock 'n' roll group "Subarashika" was formed at the end of 2015 and released their first mini-album "Ashes to Ashes" in 2017. In 2018, they released their first full-length album "Nimai" and received compliments from Keizo (KING BROTHERS) as well as members of DYGL and never young beach. The band's music, which has roots in blues and R&B, funk, soul, reggae and punk, is accompanied by groovy yet accessible melodies, and their loud live performances have been enthusiastically received by many music fans. In 2022, the band released their 2nd full-length album "Subarashiki" with the current line-up. They will release their third full-length album "The Great Reset" in November 2023.
