Rocket Boys will release a new single "Kill Love" on August 21.
In their previous release "Kiss Me, Please"
Tosinori Kuramochi was the main vocalist of the song, but KG is the vocalist of this new single.
Rocket Boys have been attracting a lot of attention as a party band that continues to liven up live houses.
The lyrics were written by Toshinori Kuramochi, and KG composed the music for the first time since "Boredom Night Blue," and the jacket was designed by 3D designer Com, who has also worked on past Rocket Boys albums. The recording was also done at STUDIO NOAH with Kosuke Sato as engineer.
Toshinori Kuramochi wrote the lyrics from the line "When I'm with someone I love, I don't want to think about difficult things like love and romance," and the moment KG received the lyrics, the melody was born and the demo sound was completed around March. It is the first party love song for Rocket Boys, who have never had a straight love song before, and features a refreshing intro that is perfect for summer.
The music video will be released on Rocket Boys' YouTube channel one week before the release.
On August 24, a live concert to celebrate the release will be held at the Koenji DOMSTUDIO in Tokyo, where they will be performing a studio-to-studio live show.
