Japanese High School Band "Anytale" to Release 1st Single "Stranger" on March 28!
Anytale was formed in May 2023 in Fukushima. They began their activities with the goal of performing at their school cultural festival, and since then, they have been performing live shows mainly in their hometown of Fukushima. In September 2024, they intensified their efforts to create original songs as part of their preparation for more serious music activities. In March 2025, they will take a new step by releasing their first music video for "Stranger."
The song was composed by Anytale and the lyrics were written by Reiji. Nearly the entire production, including the music video, was handled by the high school members themselves. The lyrics reflect Reiji's life philosophy, depicting days of losing oneself, struggling with inferiority, and feeling anxious. Additionally, Ryota is responsible for most of the instrumental performance, and his impressive playing skills are one of the highlights.
The shooting of the music video was especially challenging, with filming in the snowy mountains being particularly harsh. The tight schedule, with music production and video filming both completed in just one month, caused many plans to go awry due to forgotten shots and weather issues. However, after much trial and error, they were able to successfully complete the project.
Moving forward, the band aims to expand their activities even further, continuing to challenge themselves with the goal of performing in front of more people.
