Artist Profile

RABI
Born in Osaka, RABI is a singer-songwriter whose distinctive style combines powerful vocals with expressive violin performance. She began studying musical theater, singing, dance, violin, and piano at the age of five. After studying classical voice at Soai High School, she graduated from the Rock & Pops Course at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. Drawing from a diverse musical background spanning classical music, pop, jazz, and R&B, RABI has developed a powerful yet mysterious stage presence defined by her commanding vocals, classical rock-inspired violin playing, and androgynous visual style. Alongside her career as a solo artist, RABI has performed as a backing vocalist and violinist for numerous artists. In Shunji Iwai's film Kyrie, she appeared as the violinist of "Kyrie Band," the on-screen band accompanying the title character Kyrie, portrayed by AiNA THE END. As a member of Kyrie Band, she also appeared on major Japanese television music programs including TV Asahi's Music Station and TBS's CDTV Live! Live!. She has also performed as a backing vocalist and violinist for Kana Adachi at concerts and on tour, continuing to expand her work across a wide range of musical settings. RABI's original song "Koe no Nai Sekai" ("A World Without a Voice") was featured as the theme song for the social media drama Watashitachi no Tsuru-chan and was also performed on TV Tokyo's music program Cho-Onpa. With more than 1,000 live appearances across concerts, festivals, musicals, and other stages, RABI continues to forge her own artistic identity through the powerful combination of voice and violin.
