Fukuoka rapper "FREEZ" has been working energetically on his hip-hop project "EL NINO" with Olive Oil and his collaborative work with up-and-coming beatmaker "NARISK".
FREEZ will be releasing "NO FAMOUS", a collaboration with world wide DJ/beatmaker/producer "dj honda", on January 28 manufacture.

It has been 27 years since FREEZ, who was a high school student at the time, listened to dj honda's first album "dj honda" released in 1995 in real time.
With dj honda, who FREEZ says is his "favorite producer", the two have completed their best HipHop song together.

In 1992, he moved to New York by himself. In the same year, he participated in the DJ Battle For World Supremacy and won the second prize. This historic moment, which marked the first time a Japanese DJ was recognised in the Hip-Hop scene, marked the beginning of dj honda's career as an artist. In 1995, dj honda's first album "dj honda" was released, featuring the likes of The Beatnuts, Redman, Guru, DJ Premier, Fat Joe, Common and Erick Sermon. The second album, "h II", was released on the same day and featured top artists such as De La Soul, Keith Murray, KRS-One and Mos Def. The two albums became groundbreaking DJ albums and were the talk of the world. The second single, "Travellin' Man" featuring Mos Def, spent over 16 weeks on the Billboard charts, making him the first Asian to do so. He went on to set up his own record label, dj honda RECORDINGS, in New York, Tokyo and Seoul, and released a string of singles on his own label that charted on the Billboard charts. In 2009, he returned to Japan with the worldwide release of his long-awaited album "dj honda IV" featuring Mos Def, Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Kool G Rap, EPMD, Rakaa (Dilated Peoples) and many more. He moved his base of operations to Japan. In 2011, he wrote all the beats for the album "Aftershock" by Terumasa Hino, one of Japan's leading Jazz musicians, and toured throughout Japan, including the "Tokyo Jazz Festival 2011", one of Japan's largest Jazz festivals. In 2013, he wrote all the beats for Terumasa Hino's new album "Unity -h factor-". Since then he has collaborated with many artists from Japan and abroad, releasing "Unfinished Connection" with b.i.g.joe in 2015 and a joint album with Benizakura "dark side" in 2019. In 2021, he will be releasing "KINGS CROSS", the end of a year-long journey with THA BLUE HERB's MC "ill-bosstino". He is also famous for being one of the first to start the fusion of music and fashion, which is now an established part of Hip-Hop artists' activities. His original brand "h", featuring his own logo, is now recognized by a wide range of people around the world.
