"Hima" is actively pursuing her music career with her first album, "Route U" released in November 2025.
In January 2026, she turned 22, and while feeling fulfilled both mentally and physically, she has energetically continued to release new music and perform live.
As part of her three-month consecutive release streak, in July she released the ambitious track "Nijiiro Connect(Prod. picco)" in July, and in August, the summer anthem "SUMMER TIME LOVER(feat. THINGS)" a collaboration with the band THINGS-featuring vocalist Yuta Fujimasa, a senior artist from his hometown of Hiroshima-which brightened the summer of 2026. He has been actively engaging in collaborative tracks with other artists and creators.
And now, the long-awaited release of his second EP, "Scene 22," is set for September 30.
The EP features a rich lineup, including four newly recorded tracks-such as "Yozora" the lead single born from a reunion with his close friend and fellow hometown artist Hiroyuki Hamamoto, the composer of Hima's signature song "Rain Song"-as well as the bonus track "Nijiiro Connect(Prod. picco)" on the CD version.
Furthermore, following an acoustic tour across four cities nationwide starting in November,
it was announced on September 30 that he will hold solo concerts with a full band in Hiroshima and Tokyo in January and February 2027.
His series of cover song videos on YouTube, which he has been working on since 2020, has surpassed 260 videos, and his subscriber count is set to reach 90,000 soon.
Her cover songs, which span all genres with a focus on Showa-era pop, have steadily garnered enthusiastic support from both within and outside the industry-ranging from renowned artists with long professional careers to music fans.
She continues to post cover songs as her life's work, including a three-month consecutive series of solo concerts titled "hima's cover selection" held in March, April, and May 2026

    Hima was born in 2004 and is from Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Aiming to become a professional singer, she moved to Tokyo on her own upon entering high school. She began her career in January 2020 by posting cover videos on YouTube. Captivating listeners with a smoky yet sweet voice that belies her petite frame, her subscriber count exceeded 10,000 within a single year and has now surpassed 86,000. In February 2024, she simultaneously released two new songs, "Want You" and "Merry-Go-Round," produced by the popular Korean producer and DJ Night Tempo. She also made a guest appearance at Night Tempo's concert in Japan at Zepp Shinjuku, making her name a hot topic among music fans. In 2025, she released her first album and held solo concerts in Tokyo and Hiroshima. Starting in March 2026, she held a series of solo concerts featuring cover songs for three consecutive months, and in April, she was appointed as a Special Tourism Envoy for Kure City. Furthermore, she is scheduled to drop consecutive releases in July, August, and September, with her first nationwide tour confirmed for November and December.
