I interpret the old lyric Japanese songs that Japan produced in my own way and sing them in my own arrangement. There are many commercial songs in the world, but I made it with the desire to deliver beautiful Japanese songs that can only be sung by Japanese people, which can only be found in Japan, all over Japan and around the world. I hope that you will experience new sensation Japanese songs and fantastic world in your heart.
Artist Profile
ISSHIN
These are the lyrical songs and traditional school songs born in Japan long ago. They breathe life into the beautiful landscapes and changing seasons of Japan, the lives of its people, and that "spiritual home" residing in our distant memories. Rather than simply singing these Japanese songs exactly as they were in the past, I have sought to perceive the imagery and emotion within them and express them as new "Japanese songs" through my own unique arrangements. Amidst changing trends and the passage of time, some of these songs are beginning to fade from memory. Yet, within their melodies and lyrics lies a universal beauty that resonates with the hearts of those of us living today. Old, yet new. Nostalgic, yet somehow fresh. I want everyone living in this modern era to experience these "old yet new Japanese songs." And I wish to share these beautiful songs unique to Japan and sung with a sensibility only the Japanese can possess with the world. As you listen closely to the imagery woven into each song, I hope you will feel a connection to the "home" that exists within your own heart.
