When Summer Fades

Hoshino Kei 43th Single "When Summer Fades"

"When Summer Fades" is a bittersweet late-summer J-pop song filled with warmth, nostalgia, and a quiet sense of hope. Beginning with a delicate, intimate atmosphere, the sound gradually opens into a bright melodic chorus with a subtle modern K-pop touch. Hoshino Kei's clear and airy vocals bring a gentle emotional pull to the track, while its polished mid-tempo rhythm keeps the mood light and flowing. Fading fireworks, sunset skies, distant waves, and the quiet walk home after a summer festival linger around the music like memories that refuse to disappear. Rather than staying in sadness, the song carries the warmth of summer forward, leaving a soft glow as one season gives way to the next.
