JOEY has completed a new work that embodies his journey, his resolve for the future, and his unwavering determination. Having experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake in his hometown of Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, and faced the loss of close friends and family, he has continually searched for the meaning of life's fragility and the value of the limited time we are given. Through this song, he delivers a heartfelt message to everyone living in the present moment. With an upbeat flow, he expresses a sincere and positive spirit of moving forward alongside his friends despite carrying pain in his heart.
The project was fully produced by fellow Miyagi native YoungBeat's Instrumental. Having both grown up in coastal towns, the two artists bring together the unique sensibilities they have cultivated throughout their lives. Over soft, uplifting beats and straightforward lyrics, they share their message from Miyagi with listeners across Japan.
