This is the third scene in the quiet sound world that shinichi karuishi delivers in 2026.
While the previous work memories centered around acoustic guitar,
Im Here uses the clean tone of the electric guitar as its core,
quietly casting a more transparent and introspective light into the music.
Playing the electric guitar - an instrument I have faced for many years - in open tuning,
and adding delicate expression through arming and volume pedal techniques,
I drew a landscape in which I quietly whisper to myself,
Im here right now.

Artist Profile

  • shinichi karuishi

    shinichi karuishi Iwate-born musician / guitarist Inspired by the demo songs on his grandfathers YAMAHA SHS-200 keyboard in early childhood, shinichi awakened to music. In middle school, he fell in love with the sound of electric guitar, and during high school, he spent his days creating multi-track recordings with friends using MTR. After moving to Tokyo, he played as guitarist and composer in mixture bands and Rare Groove instrumental groups. In 2021, he returned to his hometown in Iwate, where he now bases his activities providing songs to domestic artists, guest performances, and live support for singers, among many other projects. In 2025, he performed as opening act with Jazz singer Joe Li at bird Sou da Morioka, Ikou. 25th Anniv Acoustic Live 2025. From 2026, beginning with the release of snowflake he will continue pursuing landscapes of silence and subtle sound.
