Overturn

Meet Tounyu san, Akihabara's ultimate wild-card mascot.

Officially recognized by the Japan Soymilk Association, Tounyu san is anything but an ordinary mascot-talking up a storm, completing full marathons, and causing delightful chaos at events across Japan.

After years of breaking every stereotype of what a mascot is supposed to be, Tonyu-san underwent two years of vocal training and made an unexpected debut as a recording artist with the previous single, "Stand Up for MIRAI."

But that was only the beginning.

The second single, "Overturn," is a high-energy rock anthem driven by a fast-paced band sound and dramatic musical development.

"Defy a fate that's falling apart."
"Overturn a future that's crumbling away."

Turning memories of the past, unfulfilled promises, and even the pain we carry into strength, the song is about refusing to surrender to fate and carving out a future with your own hands.

Written in Tounyu san's own words, "Overturn" captures that unwavering determination.

Comical at first glance and endlessly unpredictable by nature-yet when it comes to music, Tounyu san is nothing but serious.

Never underestimate a mascot.

After overturning every expectation, Tounyu san is ready to overturn fate itself-with a voice that refuses to back down.
