Built around a recurring synth and bass motif, "Show Me" follows a young woman searching for hope within the repetition of everyday life.
As the song unfolds, layers gradually open up before culminating in a soaring guitar solo by new member MICA, carrying the story toward the morning light.
A tanuki once decided to start a band. After coming down from the mountain, the first one they met was SCOOP, a former musician who had drifted away from the scene. Able to play both guitar and bass, SCOOP naturally took on the role of band leader. When the tanuki made a sound that resembled "gwen", they named her GWEN. Her voice became the center of the band's sound, and together they began making music. Next, they met KILLER, an assassin by trade. Yet deep down, what she truly wanted was not to take lives, but to play the keyboard. Then they found JACKET, standing alone on a street corner, playing the drums while remaining perfectly upright. And so, the four came together. The Band Band. Not a band created to become famous. Not a band formed to chase success. Simply a band created to be a band. They only wanted to make sound. And so their journey began. Then one day, from far beyond the sea, someone returned. His name was MICHA. Back in their student days, MICHA and SCOOP had been inseparable friends, united by music. Even then, MICHA's skill on the guitar was extraordinary, admired by everyone around him. When the two reunited, it felt as though no time had passed at all. They played together once more. And for the first time in a long while, SCOOP smiled. "Now I can finally play bass." The instrument he had secretly wanted to focus on all along. With MICHA taking the role of lead guitarist, SCOOP gladly picked up the bass and settled into the low end where he truly belonged. And so The Band Band became five. GWEN, the voice. KILLER, the keyboardist. JACKET, the drummer. MICHA, the guitarist. And SCOOP, the bassist. Not for fame. Not for glory. But simply to keep making sound together. And from that moment on, the story of The Band Band truly began.
