Transit is a three-track jazz crossover EP by Sumi Kazama.

The work was inspired by a journey to Takachiho, where jazz playing in a local soba restaurant sparked a new creative direction. Known for blending EDM and classical elements, Sumi Kazama now brings jazz into his musical language, expanding the emotional range of his storytelling sound.

The EP includes "Return," a modern jazz vocal track; "Velvet," a song inspired by the vocal jazz style of the 1950s; and "Freeway," an instrumental piece evoking a drive from Takachiho to Usa Shrine.

Vocals are performed by IYO. The lyrics carry forward the world of "Shift - Time Fugue," and the EP is designed as an OST for the aftermath of Episode 12 of Lost Light, portraying memory, return, and the lingering emotions of a journey across time.

Transit marks a new chapter in Sumi Kazama's sound, crossing EDM, classical music, jazz, and narrative music.
