• Jay Dilla

  Born in Tokyo and raised in Sendai, he is currently an MC and Beatmaker based in Kanagawa. After forming K Mate's Hip Hop group "Japan State" around 2010, he started his solo career in 2009. He has a unique sampling sense that makes use of MPC to make beats, a natural rap style with a smooth flow, and he also has the side of a melody maker that sometimes moves the hearts of the listeners, with an exquisite balance between mania and popular appeal. We are creating works that coexist.
