大学で結成。好きなことを好きにやりゃいい。
社会人になってからますますバンドに燃え、加速度がついてきた九州は佐賀県発（在住）、
傷だらけのまま転がり続けるスリーピースロックバンド。
2020年コロナ禍に九州中のロックバンドを集め九州外からもゲストを呼び、
秘めたる衝動を各々がぶちまける最高フリーイベント『POINT』を仲間と開催。
感じたままに、らしくあれ。ってことを紆余曲折な人生、生活、暮らし、を送りながら、社会人やりながら。
地元佐賀県でのライブ、東京・福岡でのイベントにもスケジュール調整が利く限り出演。
パーティーが終わるまで、もっというならば夜が明けるまで、記憶が無くなるまでフロアに残る。
一番最後まで呑んだくれる。忘れたい夜も多々。
幾度となく夜を使い果たしながら、日頃の仕事・平日・日常と向き合い、未だ忘れられない夜を求めて活動中。
その日しかない瞬間を浴び、体感することで前を向いてきたロックバンドが鳴らすんだから、最高に決まっている。

2025年１月～録り溜めたストックしてきた楽曲を立て続けにデジタルリリース、その第４弾。
時が、来た。

以下、今作[刺繍]に込めたギターボーカル矢野の想いを載せておく。
自分で裁縫というか針仕事的はちゃんとやったことないし、不器用なので全然やれる気もしないけれど母が好きで昔そういう作業をしているのを見たことがある。ものにもよるのだろうけど、すごい労力と言うか時間も集中力も費やす作業だというのはわかってる。もちろん１日で作りきれるものでもないので毎日少しづつ作って長い時間かけてやっとできるみたいな。
生活は手作りだと思う。自分の行動や判断は自動化できないし自分を動かすしかない。雑にやると雑な生活にしかならないし途中で投げ出すと形にならないもので終わる。
Make The Pancakeを初めてなんと15年が経っていた。まだ何者でもないと思っているのだけれど、歪な模様でも糸を紡ぐような作業を続けてきたように思う。たまに手をとめたり、何を作ってるのかよくわからなくなることもあるけれど。メンバーや友達、居場所に肩を借りてなんとか続けられている。これは一度何かを成し遂げて完結という話ではなく、続いていく。通った場所に轍ができるように見えなくても進むんでいて、糸を編み続けてる感じ。
日々育てるに近い感じがする。バンドも生活も幸せもこれから先も。

    Formed at university. Just do what you like. A three-piece rock band from (and living in) Saga Prefecture in Kyushu, who have been burning and accelerating their band ever since they entered the workforce, and are still rolling along with a lot of scars. Be as you feel, be as you are. We have been living a life of twists and turns, living and living, while being a member of society. Make the Pancake is a band that continues to be a rock band from the countryside. They play live in their hometown Saga Prefecture and at events in Fukuoka, an important base in the Kyushu region, as long as they can adjust their schedule, they have no reason to refuse, and they stay on the floor until the party is over, or better still, until the night is over and there are no more memories left. I drink until the very end. There are many nights I would like to forget. We have run out of nights many times, facing our daily work, weekdays and everyday life, and although we have had periods of inactivity, we are still in search of the nights we can't forget. The rock band that has been looking forward by bathing in and experiencing the moments that only exist on that day, so it's got to be the best.
