Faking a Star
えばぞう
『Faking a Star』は、星に恋をした一本の楓を主人公にした物語です。
秋の夜、星に恋をした楓は、葉を金色に染め、星の形へと変え、星に想いを伝えようとします。やがてその楓が枯れた夜、流れ星がひとつ消えていきます。時が流れ、その理由を何も知らない若い楓たちも、秋になると再び葉を金色に染め、星のような形の葉をつけます。
紅葉する楓の葉はなぜ黄色く、なぜ星の形をしているのか、そんな架空の由来を、一つの恋の物語として描いたものです。
疾走感のあるロックを軸に、切ない物語をあえて過度に感傷的な伴奏で包まず、前へ進み続けるサウンドとの対比によって描いています。アレンジと歌唱にはAIを音楽制作ツールとして活用しています。
楓や星を人に置き換えても、また別の物語として成立するようになっています。
