This is a remix of "E-kanji," a track from *I'm Ready*, a collaborative EP by D.R.C. rapper Andre and producer/engineer NAOtheLAIZA, who has been behind countless projects in Japan's domestic hip-hop scene.

NAOtheLAIZA's beat bridges an addictive synth phrase that pays homage to 2000s hip-hop and R&B with the heavy, contemporary sound of current hip-hop. Over it, Andre raps about the fullness of his days and a present life with nothing to complain about - delivered with a narcissistic confidence and exceptional skill that makes it undeniably compelling. During the recording sessions, a melody and lyrics Andre casually hummed in the studio were kept as the hook exactly as they were. Even the standout phrase "E-kanji" - meaning "good feeling" - emerged naturally from the vibe in the room that day.

Now, the remix arrives featuring Nara-born rapper EASTA. With crisp, precise delivery and fluid flow, EASTA rides NAOtheLAIZA's beat with complete command, bringing a fresh momentum to the track from an entirely different angle than Andre. As his rap moves through one flow to the next while locking into the beat's groove, the original's laid-back "E-kanji" atmosphere remains intact - but the track itself becomes sharper and more kinetic.
