Cold wind hums along the shore
Fading echoes, lost before
Streetlights paint the empty roads
Tracing lines where no one goes
Every turn, a déjà vu
Like the tide, I’m pulled to you
Round and round, the story spins
Another night, where do we begin?
In the circle of the night
Running fast but stuck in time
Northern lights, they call my name
Yet the road still looks the same
Shadows dance on midnight glass
Waves reflect the days gone past
Fingers draw in misty air
But the answers aren’t there
Every turn, a déjà vu
Like the tide, I’m pulled to you
Round and round, the story spins
Another night, where do we begin?
In the circle of the night
Running fast but stuck in time
Northern lights, they call my name
Yet the road still looks the same
Turn the wheel or break away
Chasing dreams or meant to stay?
Round we go, the stars remain
Burning bright, yet lost again
Circle wide, the dawn will rise
Yet the night still lingers high

starclime
