Artist Profile

• Risa Ito

  Risa was born and raised in Shizuoka, Japan. Her mother taught piano, and naturally Risa began playing classical piano at an early age. She continued her piano training for many years before she joined the Yamaha musical theater and choir, and then decided to become a singer. She performed many shows both solo and with her rock band. Yet, she still wanted to experience more kinds of music and improve her craft. So, she moved to Los Angeles, California and began studying voice at Musician's Institute. There, she learned many different styles of singing and the joy of being herself on the stage. She brought the techniques she learned back to Japan and continue doing what she loves.
