私は筋萎縮性側索硬化症ALS患者です。2021年10月、歩いていると息苦しいので、呼吸器内科へ。喘息の診断。その後、東京医科大学病院、国立国際医療センター病院にも行くが原因不明。 2022年6月8日、息も絶え絶え、何とか、慶応義塾大学病院にたどり着いた。呼吸筋がやられているとのこと。肺が悪い訳ではなかった。 この時、「これは治らないわ。」と自覚。ネットをみると、ALSの2%が呼吸筋から発病するらしい。様々な検査を行い、7月には、大阪に転院、筋萎縮性側索硬化症:ALSが診断確定した。 日本のALS患者の7割が気管切開せずに死んでいく。私は、呼吸筋以外は、ピンピンなので、まだ、「死ぬのは早い」、いずれ来る気管切開の覚悟を決めた。 ALS診断確定後、僅か2ヶ月の2022年9月7日肺炎での緊急気管切開実施、その2ケ月後咽頭分離手術実施。 ALSは治らない進行性の難病中の難病！ 。全身の筋肉が動かなくなり、最後は眼球まで動かなくなる恐ろしい病気。 私は呼吸筋肉から発病した特異性を切り口にALSも千差万別、進行停止＆改善を目標に生き抜く生き様の動画をアップしています。楽曲制作も寝たきりのベッド上でおこなっています。
