ヨリモトサトシによるパーソナルユニット SITHA が
10/24に新作EPをリリース。

前作、diskunionが運営するDIWより
フィジカルリリースしソールドとなった
「New Clear Vision」以来、6年ぶりのリリースとなる。

本作は、サイバーパンクを彷彿させる
ノイジーで冷たいシーケンスと
BPM200のマシンビートでサーフする「Rebuid the void」、
多幸感だけでは飽き足らないSITHA流のアヴァンギャルドハウス
「Dim Romance」を収録。

2023年より神楽音にてキュレーターとして
”Too people in a room”を主催し、現在も継続中。
次回 11/23は本作のリリースパーティとなる。

ライブはモジュラーシンセやペダルなどのハードウェアを
駆使するギター/ヴォーカルのヨリモトサトシと、
ドラマー眞屋善彬の2人によって構築され、
波状の電子音ラッシュとドラムのダイナミクスが交錯し、
シーケンスとの絶妙なズレがグルーヴを加速させ
フロアをロックしている。

Artist Profile

  • SITHA

    SITHA is the solo project of Satoshi Yorimoto, who previously played guitar with dip and goatbed. In 2020, he released his debut album, [New Clear Vision], on DIW, a label operated by Disk Union. Since 2023, he has been curating the [Too people in a room] series at Kagurane, which is still ongoing. Live performances feature a duo consisting of Satoshi Yorimoto on guitar and vocals-making full use of hardware such as modular synths and effects pedals-and drummer Yoshiaki Maya. Waves of electronic sounds interweave with the dynamics of the drums, whilst an exquisite misalignment with the sequences accelerates the groove and keeps the dance floor locked in. They continue to develop a hard-working style that fuses early electro, punk, new wave, rave, IDM and bass music into a single recording or live set.
