There's a very tall sunflower

I look up to the sunflower in the urban jungle

I feel it is very strong as having a green thick stem

When one summer day it's too hot ,the sun is at the great height

The flower's similar to the glare of the sun in no cloudy skies

Being having a complex ,having an inferiority complex

I walk ,just walk under the glare

I can hardly do things over the really broader world

I'm like worker ants ,like one gear in urban jungle

...People ,once upon a time ,tried to destroy this machine-like society

So people lost their freedom because of the terrible revolution

And became further worker ants and like gears ,and were marching to death

Finally many people just could not help praying

Though this machine-like society would continue

There's a very tall sunflower

I look up to the sunflower in the urban jungle

I feel it is very strong as if standing alone bravely

And as yet I surround myself with the precision-made ,machine-like society

I know the world is not working out ,but we just have a little freedom

We just have a little freedom

We may have a little love though in the absurd

There might still be hope ,hope for us

And why can't we stand alone like the sunflower standing bravely?

Because we are being hard ,hard pressured

Under our inferiority that's given by our society and history

So I'm weak ,sadly weak and small

I am feeling the glare in the too hot summer day's sunlight now

Still the very strong sunflower's reflecting the sunlight
