    スターダストプロモーションの女性アイドルセクション「STAR PLANET」所属の7人組グループ。グループ名の「ばってん」は、主に九州地方 で使われる方言から来ており、九州の魅力を全国に届け、九州と日本全国を“つなぐ ”活動を行う。 宗像市観光大使(2016年4月〜)を務めるなど、福岡に根ざした活動にも力を入れながら2020年6月にはプライベートレーベル「BATTEN Records」を立ち上げ、同年10月リリースのアルバム「ふぁん」収録の「OiSa」は2021年4月度有線CANお問合せランキング1位を獲得した他、YouTubeでの再生回数も512万回を突破し、全国的にロングヒットで話題に。
