Inspired by the breath of a whale, which cannot live in the sea without breathing, the song tells of a person who seems to have the strength to live alone, but is still waiting for someone's love to take her/him away.

The "you" will one day take "me" to the undersea world, which contrasts with the noisy world above the sea.
The song, which sounds like the breath of a whale coming from far away, accompanies such feelings.
