**Jugemu - The Never-Ending Name -**
"Jugemu, Jugemu, Gokō no Surikire..."
A name so long that simply saying it feels like an eternity.
Wishing their child a long and happy life, two parents fill his name with every auspicious phrase they can find.
But what begins as a heartfelt wish soon turns into an unexpectedly hilarious tale.
Inspired by *Jugemu*, one of Japan's most beloved traditional rakugo stories, this track reimagines classic Japanese comic storytelling through the swinging rhythms of Boom Bap hip-hop.
Playful female rap, expressive rakugo narration, traditional Japanese sounds, and a rapid-fire recitation of the impossibly long name come together in a lively fusion of past and present.
A story of parental love, endless words, and perfect comedic timing.
Where centuries-old Japanese storytelling meets modern hip-hop.
And as for the punchline?
Well... you'll just have to listen to the end.
Liminal Reverie is an instrumental music project centered on the theme between reality and dreams. Between day and night. After the crowds fade away. Moments where reality and dreams have not yet fully separated. Liminal Reverie turns the lingering presence, afterglow, and quiet atmosphere of those moments into sound. The project is built on two complementary musical axes: Japanese side: Edo Lofi Western side: Liminal Reverie Each explores a different world, while sharing the same sense of liminality.
