自分の乳がん治療と、義母の介護が同時に始まった――
そんな“ダブルケア”の現実を経験した私が、
あのとき感じたこと、迷ったこと、そして乗り越えて見えてきた「支え合うことの意味」をひとつの歌に込めました。
「介護は突然始まる」
でも「支えてくれる人たちは、必ずいる」
一人でがんばらなくていい。
誰かに頼ることは決して弱さじゃない。
この歌は、家族として、支える立場として、
そして自分自身も治療を抱える一人の人間として、
どう向き合い、どう歩いてきたかを描いたゆるりとさんの“心の記録”です。
歌詞の中で「おかあさん」と呼んでいるのは「お義母さん」のこと。
ともに過ごした日々のなかで、少しずつ「できること」が増えていった喜び、そしてそれを一緒に見守れた幸せを、静かに、ドラマティックなバラードに仕上げました。
同じような立場の方に、ほんの少しでも寄り添うことができたら嬉しいです。
