DIY "one-man alternative rock band(?)"sammy. /REVERSIES, who handles everything from songwriting and recording to mixing, releases a new single, "DON'T KNOW WHY,"on September 25, 2026.

Following the release of his second album, WHITEOUT?, in March this year, sammy. has continued to explore emotions such as anger, regret, resignation, and loneliness. His new single, "DON'T KNOW WHY," takes a more direct look at a simple yet difficult question:
Why do I keep making music anyway?

Caught between the desire to be recognized, the need to become "something" to someone, and the constant urge to wait for someone's click, the song portrays a cycle of frustration and self-doubt.
Yet, as sammy. sings:

There is no clear answer. He simply continues making music, even when he cannot explain why.
Sonically, "DON'T KNOW WHY" builds on sammy.'s roots in Alternative Rock, Grunge, Emo, and Pop Punk, combining raw guitars, a driving live-band feel, and emotionally exposed vocals. The result balances the roughness and intimacy of a DIY recording process with a more contemporary rock sound.
